My Favorite Place 3l4p6v

What's your favorite place in nature? Where is it, and how do you get there? Write a few sentences about it in your field notebook, and sketch a few things you might find on the way there. Then, head outdoors and spend some time in your favorite place; if you don't already have one, find one! Notice the plants and animals that live there. Document them with photos, sketches, or words. Pay attention to other aspects of your surroundings, too. Is it a warm, sunny place? Is it cool and shady? Do you feel any wind? What sounds do you hear? What thoughts or feelings do you notice as you sit quietly in your place? You might even return to your favorite place at different times of day, or during different seasons, to watch and document how it changes.
